Description
At last year's (online) Wild Wonder Nature Journaling Conference, we'd be given a challenge each morning. This drawing was my reaction to "Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary". Opening our hearts and minds to things we see every day helps us give more attention to what is "common". I focused on this rose and decided to render it in "ordinary" media and surface (colored pencil on kraft paper bag). Wow, what a great exercise!
