Description
The front entrance to Kripalu overlooks this expansive lawn, populated by what I call "Lollipop Trees". When I began painting landscapes, my trees were very "tight" and stylized. I hadn't yet learned how to capture the looseness and the patterns of the branches and leaves. This was the first time I used Wallis Pastel Paper, and I was blown away with its toothy surface. The pastels can be layered with ease, building up a very rich, vibrant, complex color palette.

Wonderful colors in your pastel!

This paper (Wallis sandpaper) is incredible. It lets you layer the colors and makes them "pop"!
